My friend Anne from In Residence hosts this fun monthly link-up, and it’s a short and sweet way to share snippets from my world this month!

Here’s a peek at what life looks like currently:

READING // The Bride Test by Helen Hoang — it’s cute and quirky and fun, aka everything a summer read should be! I’d be remiss to not tell you that I just finished City of Girls and I am still not over it — perfection, I tell you. PERFECTION.

ENJOYING // seeing my city in bloom — evening walks around the neighborhood are so much better when everything’s colorful and I’m stopping every two seconds to take pictures of the beauty. (ps— my goal of taking a daily picture of something I find beautiful is a really simple and helpful way I’ve been working toward cultivating awareness and gratitude!)

FINDING // alllllll the ways to cheat the library systems — having cards for both the county and the city libraries means I can put books on hold at both, see which one has a shorter list, get books quicker, read more, have access to double the books, etc. I AM A GENIUS, basically. (Don’t tell the library on me!)

SAVING // all the recipes from my Purple Carrot boxes (I finally found a vegan + gluten-free meal subscription box!) because they’ve all been total home runs! If you’re looking for great new plant-based meal options, highly recommend checking them out. My plan is to get boxes for a few more weeks and then end my membership once I’ve added a handful of new recipes to my arsenal! (there aren’t referral links or anything for this box, just fyi!)

TASTING // strawberry rose sorbet sandwiched inside the best macaron… when your roommate texts you after an especially hard counseling session and offers to treat you to ice cream, you say YES PLEASE. (Richmond friends, Scoop is the best!)
