i've been craving the feeling of bare feet on soft green grass. i've been wanting to plunge my hands into big pots of cool soil, wanting to break it up between my fingers and be reminded i came from dust like this and i'll return to dust like this someday too.
It's been a while since I've written little letters here, but it feels like a Friday where we should name the good things and celebrate the joy. You with me?
I was the most hardcore night owl for so long, but the snooze button and the frantic feelings that came with it weren't my friends. Thankfully, I figured out what works for me, and I am a BIG fan of the mornings now.
From the hard to the hopeful to the random, here are the little things I learned this spring!
I'm glad it's a "little letters" post day, because I needed the reminder to look back at the good things in life recently and name what I'm grateful for.
Here I am. In a new month, a new season. And I'm trying to take better inventory of where my soul is these days.
Because when you build garden beds yourself and plant a ton of veggies and have a bountiful harvest, you should share it with the world.
...slow mornings in the Word with my journal full of scattered thoughts.
...two little girls and handmade paper flower chains and garden scenes on the fireplace.
...fun braids and straight hair (a rarity!)
...tomato plants taller than me.
...an abundant harvest of more tomatoes than we can eat.
What are you thankful for today?
