The last month of the year. The month I hit (and passed!) my 200 book goal. The month I finished 17 books. Basically, A GREAT MONTH.
I got this book for free this month, and was SO glad to have finally read it after hearing buzz about it for years! This one will change your life, guaranteed.
This was the month where the rubber met the road in my reading -- seeing the end of 2017 in sight made me crank things up to try to knock out that 200 book goal for this year!
There are VERY few books I'll reread, so for this to be one of them (and to get rave reviews both times!) is really saying something. It stands the test of time!
Eleven books this month (three in one weekend alone, thank you, Readathon!) and quite a few winners! I totally hated one of these thought-- read more to find out which one!
It's been a hard season. A hard year. And while I'd never recommend ignorance, escaping with words that bring comfort and encouragement can be helpful. Here are a few books I'd suggest picking up right about now.
I turned to bookstagram for help picking my "one word title" book this month, and this one was the clear winner! Think Narnia, but set in Portland, with STUNNING illustrations... it was a winner!
I ended up getting through 16 books this month even though September felt incredibly busy-- I think if it wasn't for so many nights spent babysitting, I wouldn't have finished more than half of these!
I preordered this one MONTHS in advance -- I'm THAT much of a Gretchen Rubin fan and that much of a personality type nerd!
I tackled 17 books this August and am still cruising fast toward that 200 book goal for 2017! Here are my reviews for this month's reads.
I didn't even mean for this to be the "book in a series" I read this month, but it happened and it worked and so here is my review!
