How to Get Rid of Books (Both Read and Unread)

How to Get Rid of Books (Both Read and Unread)

Getting rid of books is not easy, I know. (This is coming from a girl who has hundreds of unread book on her shelves, so clearly I haven’t mastered the whole “minimalism” thing yet…) But no matter how many books you prefer to keep, or how many you have room for, there comes a time for all of us where we realize we need to let some beloved books go…

I knew it would be fun to get creative with the prompts for A RAD Reading Challenge and include “A book with a cover in your favorite color” as one of them. There are SO MANY beautiful and colorful book covers out there, but I wanted to share a rainbow of ideas to get you started.

What I Read in June

Ahhhh, sweet summertime. Wait, just kidding — this is my least favorite season by FAR. Thankfully, though, the days are longer and the extra sunlight motivates me to read even more than usual…

Flight of Four: Summer Lovin'

Kid’s books are awesome. I know I’m no longer a kid, but I think I appreciate their beauty and whimsy and meaning so much more now than I did when I was younger… and I LOVED books as a kid! It was a blast to compile a bunch of my favorite children’s books and even more that I want to get my hands on soon.

What I Read in May

This month was full of SO MUCH READING and so many fast, fun, kick-off to summer books, and lots of YA, and a few duds too… but it was SOLID. The stack of books got a little out of control by the end of the month, but that’s the best problem to have, am I right?! Here’s to even more reading this summer!

What I Read in April

What I Read in April

I did not read much at ALL this month. Even though I got through 8 books in total which doesn’t seem THAT far off from my goal of 10, many of this month’s reads were short ones (young adult, middle grade, and quick creativity books that were very fast reads!).

What I Read in March

What I Read in March

It’s been a BUSY month and I have had wayyyy less reading time, but am still so proud of getting through as many books as I did!
