It truly feels like the good old days of blogging long, thoughtful, meaningful posts are behind me, and all I ever share here are lists and roundups that are easy and breezy. Maybe someday I’ll return to longer form writing, but for now, this is what works.

It’s been a bit since I’ve shared some fun finds, but I’ve gathered up a few things I want to share with you this week!
It’s a week into July at this point and I’m just now remembering that this post exists and I should have shared it when June ended… but anyway. Let’s go!
May flew by! It started on such a high note, ended on such a hard note. I celebrated a birthday during a global pandemic, and marched in my first peaceful protests. It was such a wild and full month, and I’m glad I finally took the time to look back at it and record what happened.
When you ask what life looks like currently, I can’t talk about anything except the fight for justice and peace in response to current events and the horrible and gut-wrenching deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and so many others. Today’s post and prompts (hosted by my friend Anne!) centers on these conversations, this heart, and content by and from BIPOC friends and leaders and neighbors.
Despite it being the shortest month, February can feel like a long haul, especially when it comes with wintry weather and chronic pain and other kinds of craziness!
