Five Finds // Monday

Today’s finds are pretty great, if I do say so myself… — a new way to support indie bookstores, a great comic, a hilarious tweet, an AMAZING new website, and more!

A new way to support indie bookstores:

I just discovered Bookshop, an online bookstore that supports all kinds of indie bookstores. I created a list here of all of my five star favorite books — shopping there will both get you great books I loved AND support small businesses… WIN-WIN.

A cute (and relatable) comic:

Chanel Miller (author of Know My Name — a book I loved SO MUCH) made this adorable and hilarious comic for The New Yorker and it is spot on.

A new website:

This Stay Home, Take Care site from Girls Night In is AMAZING and so well designed and really just very necessary right now. Big, big fan.

A creative challenge:

The 100 Day Project starts tomorrow!! I’ve done this project for several years, and always find it fun, challenging, and worth it. The concept is simple and open-ended— come up with an idea, and do it for 100 days in a row. This year, I’m going to do #100daysofradpicdoodles — using my iPad Pro + Apple Pencil to doodle/illustrate/handletter over photos I’ve taken. I’m looking forward to it!

A tweet to laugh at:

Watch until the end. Trust me.
