Five Finds // Monday

It would be cool if I remembered to share these more often… oops. I started so strong! OH WELL. Book lists, beautiful jewelry, a fun craft, and more in today’s finds!

A funny video:

If you’re a churchgoer/worship leader/church staff person, you’ll appreciate/CRACK UP at this.

A craft to try:

I was inspired by an instagram post to try a craft a few weeks ago, and it made its way to the Children’s Museum of Richmond blog this week! (My mom works there and it was so fun to help create a bit of content for them/for kiddos!)

Beautiful jewelry:

My friend Paige is a multi-talented maker— she shoots photos (my headshots are by her and I love them!), writes songs and poetry, does watercolors, and lately, makes clay jewelry. Her new shop sells out quickly, but stay tuned for her future launches and grab some awesome pieces.

Virtual tours:

I have a Frank Lloyd Wright inspired tattoo (a bit of an homage to my dad’s love for him!) so seeing that 12 of FLW’s homes are hosting virtual tours was awesome! I’m looking forward to spending some time with these videos.

A way to support indie bookstores:

Instead of making book lists on Amazon to share, I’ve moved to using Bookshop, because it supports indie bookstores! LOVE THAT. (I also totally might have mentioned this already but quarantine brain is real and I don’t remember.) ANYWAY. I have a few lists created (my five-star favorites, the fiction + nonfiction lists I used when I did book brackets recently, and a list of everything i’ve read so far in 2020) — check it out!
