Five Finds // Weekend

This weekend’s five finds include beautiful essays, new ways to stream + socialize, and zoo livestreams!

A book to read:

The Opposite of Loneliness is a collection of essays and stories I read years ago and haven’t forgotten about since. It was written by a young college student who was tragically killed in a car accident, and her words (published posthumously) are bright and beautiful and worth reading.

A new way to Netflix:

Did you see Netflix released Netflix Party which allows you to watch simultaneously with friends and group chat at the same time?! So fun. It makes binging shows feel more relational, and I’m all about that.

Games to play with friends:

Girls Night In is compiling a list of games we can all play virtually with friends, and as a board game fan, I’m here for it. Codenames, one of my faves, is the first on the list!

Your new favorite clothing:

I wear my Homebody sweatshirt from ProperTee SO DANG MUCH, and always get questions/compliments on it when I do! I just got an email that they’re offering free US shipping until March 23 with code “SHIP4FREE” since National Homeboy Day is coming up (April 11). (ps—the brand is from Chris Loves Julia and their blog is one of my favorites to follow — check them out if you like home projects/renovations/DIY!).

A new kind of entertainment:

Livestreams from zoos. Need I say more?
