Five Finds Friday // Dec. 11
Work is always fun, but sometimes it's extra fun, like when we throwdown on camera about Christmas stuff. This is part one, so expect the rest of these to come over the following weeks, because they're just hilarious! I love my coworkers and this company.
I only made ONE purchase the whole Black Friday/Small Business Saturday/Cyber Monday/Whytheheckdoweshopsomuch Day... and it was THIS. And I'm in love. Be proud of me that this was all I got, because my cart was FULL of all the bags and totes and pouches and duffels. And I only got one. I consider this a major accomplishment.
I would like to be eating these right now, please and thank you. Minimalist Baker, you always make me DROOL.
My sweet friend Emilee Clemons just officially joined The Rising team as a monthly member, and this was her first post. She knocked it out of the park. This post is powerful and bold and beautiful and so encouraging. If you're a churchgoer of any kind, give this a read!
This post by Allison Vesterfelt was one I randomly clicked on (mostly to get through the top posts on my Feedly so I could refresh the content) but I ended up deeply resonating with it. It's worth a read whether you currently feel overwhelmed or not, especially if you're a highly sensitive person (uh, yes, hi, hello, that's me) and feel ALL THE FEELS.
- Wendell Berry: Where to Start by Rebecca Parker Payne -- this is one of my favorite authors, and this is the friend who introduced me to him! She gives a great outline of Berry's works and what to read first. Highly recommend!
- All the Ways to Decorate with Eucalyptus This Winter -- because I ALWAYS have at least one bunch of eucalyptus in my room/bathroom. Obsessed.
