Currently // Nov. 2017
Every month, Anne of In Residence hosts this fun little "Currently" link up and I decided to join in today! She's co-hosting with Julie of A Hopeful Hood (a new-to-me blogger!) and it's super easy to linkup if you want to whip up a quick post, too!
Here are a few little snippets of life currently:
REALIZING // Thanksgiving is the next holiday has me the HAPPIEST. I'm a major Halloween hater (too sensitive for all the scary, and too introverted for all the crowds and peopling) and cannot wait to gather with my people over a whole feast of food. Planning my vegan/gf menu is always fun!
STIRRING // a big pot of this chili! Because when coworker besties have new babies and it finally feels like fall, nothing's better. (vegan + gf! the recipe is from her cookbook-- grab it here! it's my favorite.)
APPRECIATING // true autumn temperatures. my Everlane jeans that fit perfectly. this playlist.
INVESTIGATING // acupuncture. I'm going for the first time today (on recommendation from my counselor!) and feeling VERY nervous about it. anybody who has done it before-- tell me all the things!
FOLLOWING // Your Enneagram Coach on Instagram is always convicting and encouraging. I'm a One and always love the posts about Ones in the series that she does! (ps-- Beth was recently on the That Sounds Fun podcast with Annie F. Downs and it's SO good!)
When you ask what life looks like currently, I can’t talk about anything except the fight for justice and peace in response to current events and the horrible and gut-wrenching deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and so many others. Today’s post and prompts (hosted by my friend Anne!) centers on these conversations, this heart, and content by and from BIPOC friends and leaders and neighbors.
